Super Quick Thank You Cards

I bought the long notes cards and envelopes back when the Fall-Winter Catalog came out, I did use one a while back and just last night I was looking through my envelopes and saw these cards. My first thought was why haven't I used these sooner because they are already pre-cut and they have matching envelopes.

I used my Jumbo roller and versa mark inked cartridge to do the back ground, it is easiest to see the background detail in the last picture. I made them all Very Quickly and I embossed little circles along the edge of the card using my Crop-A-Dile, it is not just for setting eyelets! Instead of all thank you cards I decided to change one to say "Thinking of you" so I could send it to my brother, who is in Argentina on a mission. He has less than a year left!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Sincere Salutations, Polka Dots & Paisley, Jumbo Wheel Petals
Paper: Long Notes (Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi, River Rock), River Rock, Very Vanilla
Ink: River Rock, Versa mark inked Jumbo Cartridge
Accessories: Tag Punch, Small Tag Punch, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Crop-A-Dile (dry embossed circles), Stampin' Around Jumbo Handle

So Swirly Gratitude

I liked how this thank you card came out a lot better, and it was a lot easier. So this is the one I decided to do more than one of. I still need to make more thank you cards, believe it or not, and I don't always like to make them all the same. So, I will be playing around with some of my other stamps and trying to come up with some more cards. For the leaf on this card I just used the 5 petal flower punch and cut to the middle and created 5 leaves to use on 5 cards.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Define Your Life, Jumbo Wheel So Swirly
Paper: DSP Bali Breeze, Taken with Teal, Rose Red, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Taken with Teal, Rose Red
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, 5 Petal Flower Punch, Accents & Elements Flower Fusion, Rhinestone Brads Ice Squares

Teal Thanks

This card was a really struggle to make, I don't know why, maybe it was because it was the first card I made after my stamping drought, and I still don't know if I like how it turned out. It is always nice to have an outside opinion. So I was trying to stalk up on Thank you cards because I know when the baby comes I won't have as much free time, anyway, when I envisioned this card it seemed to be pretty simple and quick and it was going to be completely different. I thought I could do a lot of them and I ended up only doing one and changed the card and stamp sets for the rest of the cards. Stay tuned tomorrow to see that card! On this card, I stamped the flowers in Basic Black and then used my versa marker and colored in parts of the flower to make the darker color and then I used my white signo gel pen to highlight other parts of the flower. I like how the background came out, I guess it is just the layout that I am not sure of.
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Much Appreciated, Time Well Spent
Paper: DSP Bali Breeze, Taken with Teal, Rose Red, Old Olive
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Versa Marker, White Signo Gel Pen, White Grosgrain ribbon, Ticket Corner Punch

Accent Element tins

So what are you supposed to do with those leftover tins? Don't throw them away! You can decorate them and use them as gift card holders! At least that is what I did. For Christmas I made these tins for members of my family. I lined them with the DSP and made a belt around the outside with a tag attached. I know these are Christmas projects but they can be easily altered to be a birthday, baby, or just because gift.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Warm Words, Perfect Presentation
Paper: DSP Dotted, Old Olive, Real Red, Prints DSP Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Crop-A-Dile, Pewter Jumbo Eyelets, Metallic Eyelets, Hemp Twine, Ribbon Originals Theater, 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon Real Red, Sponge

Just B

No I have not fallen off the earth and no I haven't had the baby yet (I wish). I have just gotten out of the habit of stamping (gasp!). Yeah, before the holidays I was stampin like a maniac and then I took a break when I went to my sister's wedding and just haven't really done any stamping since . . . until this week! Anyway, these cards are made with one of the new sets in the Spring-Summer Catalog. I just LOVE this set, and it is so versatile. The stamp set is called "Just B". I made two cards using the same colors and layout and just switched the sentiment a bit and I got two completely different occasion cards! So a cool thing about this new catalog, they have different colored micro beads! They come in packets that have beads to match them too, they are called Bead Duos! On this card I used the Bead Duo Red for the vertical red strip, I just took my sticky strip and put it on the Pretty in Pink CS and removed the red plastic and applied the Red Micro beads, I really love how this turned out, it looks really pretty in real life.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Just B, Twill Background, Priceless
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Naturals Ivory
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Real Red
Accessories: Bead Duo Red, Sticky Strip, Stampin' Dimensionals, sponge
