I thought this ribbon would be so cute in a little girl's hair. So I made these bows for a little girl who just turned 1, about a month ago. I hope she enjoys them.<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SpUwkL08HNI/AAAAAAAABo4/PHaXOE1iccw/s1600-h/100_2447.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374255128544812242" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SpUwkL08HNI/AAAAAAAABo4/PHaXOE1iccw/s320/100_2447.JPG" /></a> Supplies:<br />Accessories: Pigtails Ribbon Originals (retired), wire, hot glue, hair clips, foam<br /><div></div>Shawntelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08345829582495752773noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5901760548087294747.post-52602700258822186672009-08-14T08:55:00.002-04:002009-08-14T09:33:59.878-04:00And Finally the Cover! This was probably the most fun I have had while doing this Wedding Album. That is probably because I was trying something new. I was actually pretty scared to do stenciling on the linen album, just because if I messed up then it would be on there forever or I would have to purchase a whole new album. For all the stenciling I used the Kind Thoughts Brocade decor stencil.<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SoVfnWlee8I/AAAAAAAABow/QyBb99d7Sw8/s1600-h/100_2241.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369803260391488450" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SoVfnWlee8I/AAAAAAAABow/QyBb99d7Sw8/s320/100_2241.JPG" /></a> Yes the long border is also the Kind Thoughts Brocade decor stencil. I used just the center part of the <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">stencil</span>. <span style="color:#663333;">Hint: Use masking tape to create long continuous <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">boundaries</span> to create a long border.<br /></span><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SoVfm3yIOWI/AAAAAAAABoo/RVqMZ_0QjgY/s1600-h/100_2243.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369803252123056482" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SoVfm3yIOWI/AAAAAAAABoo/RVqMZ_0QjgY/s320/100_2243.JPG" /></a> I added some ribbon and <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">linen</span> twine to accent the border. I also made a tag to match.<br /><span style="color:#663333;">Hint: The pretties kit offers many great accents to make your tags, cards, scrap book pages, and projects elegant.</span><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SoVfmQBtOXI/AAAAAAAABog/Bp2BbHJ47OU/s1600-h/100_2242.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5369803241450977650" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SoVfmQBtOXI/AAAAAAAABog/Bp2BbHJ47OU/s320/100_2242.JPG" /></a> Supplies:</div><div>Paper: Mellow Moss, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum</div><div>Ink: Craft Perfect Plum, Mellow Moss, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Black <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">Stampin</span>' Write Marker</div><div>Accessories: Kind Thoughts Brocade Stencil, Mellow Moss <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Taffeta</span>, Linen Thread, <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-error">Boho</span> Blossom Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Pretties Kit, Sponge Dauber<br /></div></div>Shawntelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08345829582495752773noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5901760548087294747.post-80323707571844014242009-07-24T08:42:00.002-04:002009-07-24T09:01:13.735-04:00Happily Ever AfterI was so happy when I had finally finished the last page. It is that huge weight lifted off your <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">shoulders</span> feeling and sense of accomplishment.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmmsurGECLI/AAAAAAAABnk/UGcIWwd-7Uc/s1600-h/100_2232.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5362006749203400882" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmmsurGECLI/AAAAAAAABnk/UGcIWwd-7Uc/s320/100_2232.JPG" /></a> It is a simple layout, since there was only one picture. I knew I also wanted to use my Once Upon a Time stamp set and also the Beautiful Butterflies Die. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5362006745227080882" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmmsucSCNLI/AAAAAAAABnc/ohCITum3R6g/s320/100_2233.JPG" />I added sponging to the butterflies and I also added some Hardware from the Very Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware. <span style="color:#663300;">Hint: There are punches that are designed to coordinate with the hardware. This has got to be one of my most favorite layouts yet. I am really happy with the way it turned out. I like that I was able to incorporate lots of photos and still add interest.<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhTif8ILoI/AAAAAAAABmU/yJOy4vQrCzc/s1600-h/100_2220.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361627208538926722" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhTif8ILoI/AAAAAAAABmU/yJOy4vQrCzc/s320/100_2220.JPG" /></a> When I was mapping out this layout, I figured I wanted 4 accent squares on each page and I wanted them all on different squares, so that the pages wouldn't mirror each other. I waited to glue everything down until I had the exact layout I wanted.<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhTiLdZCgI/AAAAAAAABmM/0O8EAv94k8k/s1600-h/100_2221.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361627203041298946" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhTiLdZCgI/AAAAAAAABmM/0O8EAv94k8k/s320/100_2221.JPG" /></a> The vanilla square looks like it is plain with nothing on it, but if you click on the photo you can probably see that there are hearts punched out and glued on top to create a tone on tone effect.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhThw3UnuI/AAAAAAAABmE/SNM4lt3Ovf4/s1600-h/100_2223.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361627195902303970" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhThw3UnuI/AAAAAAAABmE/SNM4lt3Ovf4/s320/100_2223.JPG" /></a> <span style="color:#663300;">Hint: Punches help to create quick and easy accents. Add a stamp and some accessories to jazz it up!</span><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhThrhZoqI/AAAAAAAABl8/Ws0f2IINLGI/s1600-h/100_2224.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361627194468180642" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhThrhZoqI/AAAAAAAABl8/Ws0f2IINLGI/s320/100_2224.JPG" /></a> All the accessories used on these pages came from the pretties kit. <span style="color:#663300;">Hint: You can coordinate the pretties kit with all the Stampin' Up! Colors. You can color the flowers with the Stampin' Write Markers or use reinkers and a little bit of water. You can even match the In-Colors for this year, they just came out with In-Color Stampin' Write Markers. Yeah!<br /></span><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhThL42pOI/AAAAAAAABl0/1hdlT0H1bW8/s1600-h/100_2228.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361627185976616162" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmhThL42pOI/AAAAAAAABl0/1hdlT0H1bW8/s320/100_2228.JPG" /></a> Supplies:</div><div>Stamp Sets: Friends 24-7, Stem Sayings</div><div>Paper: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla</div><div>Ink: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Mellow Moss</div><div>Accessories: Pretties Kit, Wide Oval Punch, Full Heart Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Mat Pack, Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon, Signo White Gel Pen</div></div></div></div>Shawntelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08345829582495752773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5901760548087294747.post-27139723422907981582009-07-22T08:58:00.002-04:002009-07-22T09:28:38.568-04:00Seeing Spots Scrap Book PageWhen I was trying to figure out this next layout I was very overwhelmed with how many pictures there were. I didn't know where to start. I was also looking for a quick way to put this page layout together. Anyway, long story short, I had my largest circle punch out on the table and started playing around and this is what I came up with.<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmcN5N4PG7I/AAAAAAAABk8/smiFUfinX5Y/s1600-h/100_2214.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361269158037101490" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmcN5N4PG7I/AAAAAAAABk8/smiFUfinX5Y/s320/100_2214.JPG" /></a> I added circle of colored card stock to add some more interest. <span style="color:#663300;">Hint: Many of the circles are only partly showing. If you know that only part will show, you can cut off the part that will be hidden and use the spare piece for the edges of the paper, to give it a continuous look.</span> <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361269151981132802" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmcN43UYXAI/AAAAAAAABk0/o1FXuMl5i6Q/s320/100_2218.JPG" />I also had some pictures that were larger and wouldn't fit within one circle punch. So I figured out a way to kind of extend the picture and also add some special interest to the pictures.<br /><div><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmcN4gA4UHI/AAAAAAAABks/aQPDPn6NnAQ/s1600-h/100_2219.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361269145725325426" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmcN4gA4UHI/AAAAAAAABks/aQPDPn6NnAQ/s320/100_2219.JPG" /></a> To do this I punched the main image that I wanted to "pop" out and then I punched more circles around the image. I then pieced them together on the page. <span style="color:#663300;">Hint: To make the pictures pop off the page, use <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">Stampin</span>' <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">Dimensionals</span>. They are great for scrap booking because they are archival safe.</span></div><div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmcN4Rvjf0I/AAAAAAAABkk/hDuP8rQyIFc/s1600-h/100_2216.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361269141894561602" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmcN4Rvjf0I/AAAAAAAABkk/hDuP8rQyIFc/s320/100_2216.JPG" /></a> Supplies:</div><div>Stamp Sets: Big Deal Alphabet</div><div>Paper: Very Vanilla, Mellow Moss, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum</div><div>Ink: Perfect Plum</div><div>Accessories: 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-error">Stampin</span>' <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">Dimensionals</span><br /><br /><br /><br /></div><div></div></div></div>Shawntelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08345829582495752773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5901760548087294747.post-62024480249621502972009-07-20T10:01:00.003-04:002009-07-20T10:40:48.264-04:00Tulipe Scrap Book LayoutThis is the next layout for the Wedding Album. I liked it a lot better once it was all put together. There are some fun details that I really like on these pages. When I was originally putting this layout together I was going to have the lines uniform on the bottom of the page. It was by accident that they were put off center. I like to say it was a happy accident, because I like how it turned out. <span style="color:#99ff99;">Tip: Not all accidents are bad, embrace human error, you never know, you may end up loving it!</span> <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360543329013287042" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmR5waDtSII/AAAAAAAABio/M67jIyLlVuk/s320/100_2209.JPG" />Another thing that was unexpected is I found a scrap of paper with the tulipe already cut out of it, I thought that it would make a great stencil for an accent. Hint: You can create your own stencils using Stampin' Up! window sheets. Use your Big Shot dies with the window sheets and you can make stencils that you can clean, and reuse over and over. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360543346696704754" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmR5xb7w0vI/AAAAAAAABjA/rvXiUfMIAx8/s320/100_2212.JPG" />I pulled out my sewing machine for these pages, I am so glad I did because that is my favorite part about the pages. I ran two wavy lines of stitching up and down the dotted paper.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmR5xsAxO4I/AAAAAAAABjI/8a0qus0UjtU/s1600-h/100_2213.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360543351012670338" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmR5xsAxO4I/AAAAAAAABjI/8a0qus0UjtU/s320/100_2213.JPG" /></a> I added a fun little bouquet on this page for the garter and bouquet toss.<br /><div><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmR5xOg-IhI/AAAAAAAABi4/o-u23ylDUy8/s1600-h/100_2211.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360543343094669842" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmR5xOg-IhI/AAAAAAAABi4/o-u23ylDUy8/s320/100_2211.JPG" /></a> I used my favorite paper snips from Stampin' Up! to cut out this image. <span style="color:#99ff99;">Hint: They are great for getting into small spaces to get rid of that unwanted card stock.<br /></span><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmR5wjq_K-I/AAAAAAAABiw/jv9VV_333vE/s1600-h/100_2210.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360543331593956322" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SmR5wjq_K-I/AAAAAAAABiw/jv9VV_333vE/s320/100_2210.JPG" /></a> I also added stitching around the title. Hallelujah!! This is not the last page, I will post the rest of pages over the next few days. I actually finished the album before I went to Hawaii. It was a huge relief to me and also my Bro and SIL I'm sure. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5357952720924213154" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SltFnK4Gf6I/AAAAAAAABgY/oQ0T8s6gGsg/s320/100_2203.JPG" />Here is the layout all together. I used Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, and Very Vanilla for this layout. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5357952733443282338" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SltFn5g4VaI/AAAAAAAABgo/zALwnz49b8U/s320/100_2207.JPG" />To do the title I used the Stampin' Up! This card is great if you have a lot of scraps that need to be used up.<br /><span style="color:#99ff99;">Hint: I used my SU! square punch to punch out all the paper to make sure they were all the same size and fit perfectly together. I glued them onto a piece of white card stock (it really could be any color since you don't see it) and rolled it through my big shot.</span><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SlXmHNyfSwI/AAAAAAAABfo/65y115ONIow/s1600-h/100_2183.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356440343461972738" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SlXmHNyfSwI/AAAAAAAABfo/65y115ONIow/s320/100_2183.JPG" /></a> I used some paper from Sale-A-Bration, because I had lots of scraps that I could use.<br /><span style="color:#99ff99;">Hint: Stampin' Up! has great packs of designer paper that coordinate with each other.</span><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SlXmGvbLl3I/AAAAAAAABfg/NgI66ek6eTc/s1600-h/100_2184.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356440335311148914" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SlXmGvbLl3I/AAAAAAAABfg/NgI66ek6eTc/s320/100_2184.JPG" /></a> Supplies:</div><div>Stamps: Say it With Scallops (retired)</div><div>Paper: Darling Dots DSP (retired), Naturals Ivory, Whisper White</div><div>Ink: Sahara Sand</div><div>Accessories: Certainly Celery Poly Twill Ribbon (retired), Scallop Square Punch, Top Note Die</div><div></div><div></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>I love the look of the next card, it is so sleek and simple. And guess where it is going to be. Hawaii!!! Yeah, I am just a little excited! Anyway, I was trying to think of something I could make for them and right away, I wanted to do something with Decor Elements. Here is what I came up with.<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/Sie1MMvZEEI/AAAAAAAABao/JDzIZspKWpQ/s1600-h/100_2175.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343438704081440834" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/Sie1MMvZEEI/AAAAAAAABao/JDzIZspKWpQ/s320/100_2175.JPG" /></a> I found this plate and stand at Home Goods. Totally Awesome store! I thought I would share early. I used mostly product from the Occasions Mini Catalog, lots of good stuff in there!<br /><div><a href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SgwgHzwqxjI/AAAAAAAABVA/_Kyk_JL2Ki4/s1600-h/100_2093.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335674977052706354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SgwgHzwqxjI/AAAAAAAABVA/_Kyk_JL2Ki4/s320/100_2093.JPG" border="0" /></a> I also pulled out my shimmery card stock, I just get in the habit of using whisper white and I forget about the shimmer. So it is back for Ladies' Night.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335674977463351074" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SgwgH1SktyI/AAAAAAAABVI/t4FC9bBf0a0/s320/100_2098.JPG" border="0" />Supplies:</div><div>Stamp Sets: <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=113792">Great Friend</a><br /><div>Paper: <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=115123">Walk In The Park Designer Series Paper</a>, Kiwi Kiss, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Baja</span> Breeze, Shimmery White</div><div>Ink: Kiwi Kiss, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Baja</span> Breeze</div><div>Accessories: <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=114890">Matchbox <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Bigz</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Xl</span> Die</a>, <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=109047">3/16 Inch Corner Rounder Punch</a>, Mini Glue Dots, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Stampin</span>' <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Dimensionals</span></div></div>Shawntelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08345829582495752773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5901760548087294747.post-42670560439152976062009-05-02T17:27:00.003-04:002009-05-02T18:02:31.154-04:005th Avenue Wedding Card<div><div>I made this card inspired by <a href="http://pattystamps.typepad.com/pattys_stamping_spot/">Patty's</a> flowers. We made a some fun mini cards. This class highlighted the embosslit dies for the big shot and the Raspberry Tart DSP.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330447307556582002" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SfmNlZTY8nI/AAAAAAAABS0/DFWK9aPYOak/s320/100_1951.JPG" border="0" /><br />In this picture below the colors look awful, I think it is all the Rose Red that made my camera go crazy. The picture above looks more like the card in real life.<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SfmNmkIdQVI/AAAAAAAABTU/raKfyP2IkVs/s1600-h/100_1964.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330447327643386194" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SfmNmkIdQVI/AAAAAAAABTU/raKfyP2IkVs/s320/100_1964.JPG" border="0" /></a> I just love love love the ribbon used on this card, so pretty and elegant.<br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SfmNmcKA3PI/AAAAAAAABTM/FL3T0X_Ump4/s1600-h/100_1958.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330447325502430450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SfmNmcKA3PI/AAAAAAAABTM/FL3T0X_Ump4/s320/100_1958.JPG" border="0" /></a> On some of the flowers I used a bit of a darker ink with a sponge dauber, to highlight the middle of the flower to give it more depth.<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5330447309430421810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SfmNlgSJeTI/AAAAAAAABS8/FUKmlkziP10/s320/100_1953.JPG" border="0" />I think this is my favorite card of all 4. We wanted to do something outside so we could have lots of run around space. Anyway, these are the invitations that were sent out this week. It kind of looks like I can't center the paper, I think it is because the card is on an angle. Really, I can glue paper on strait. <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/Sct52l50QlI/AAAAAAAABQ8/O_6gA8B7C_k/s1600-h/100_1937.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317477763835511378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/Sct52l50QlI/AAAAAAAABQ8/O_6gA8B7C_k/s320/100_1937.JPG" border="0" /></a> Supplies:<br />Stamp Sets: None<br />Paper: <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">DSP</span> Delicate Dots (<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">SAB</span>), Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, So Saffron<br />Ink: None<br />Accessories: <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=113468">Scallop Circle <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Bigz</span> Die</a> , <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=114509">Big Bold Cupcakes <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Sizzlits</span> 4-Pack Dies</a> , <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=112530">Circle Scissor Plus</a>, Certainly Celery 1/4" <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Grosgrain</span> Ribbon, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=101618"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Crimper</span></a>, <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=114512">Backgrounds 1 <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Texturz</span> Plates</a>Shawntelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08345829582495752773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5901760548087294747.post-846179205909148642009-03-02T09:22:00.002-05:002009-03-02T09:36:26.108-05:00Fifth Avenue Birthday<div>This is another card for my ladies' night class last month. I wanted to put together something fun so that my daughter would know that it is hers and make it pretty. When I showed it to her she loved it. Anyway, this is what I came up with, simple but fun.<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SZrJjQzXGDI/AAAAAAAABLo/O_y3clsjcU0/s1600-h/100_1882.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303773118825175090" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SZrJjQzXGDI/AAAAAAAABLo/O_y3clsjcU0/s320/100_1882.JPG" border="0" /></a> I actually did some hand sewing to get the button to stay on. This is going to be handled by a 4 year old and I didn't want thing falling off in the process of taking it out and putting it back in her piano bag multiple times.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SZrJi0pLB9I/AAAAAAAABLg/HTMMLHQIEkU/s1600-h/100_1885.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303773111266248658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SZrJi0pLB9I/AAAAAAAABLg/HTMMLHQIEkU/s320/100_1885.JPG" border="0" /></a> Supplies:</div><div>Paper: Retired <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">DSP</span>, White Computer Paper (to make the pad)</div><div>Accessories: <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=111364">So Saffron 7/8 Inch Poly-Twill Ribbon</a> , <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=109114">Pretties Kit</a> , <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=114333">Button Latte</a> , <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=104199">Linen Thread</a> , Tapestry Needle, Mini Glue dots, Staples<br /><br /></div><div></div>Shawntelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08345829582495752773noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5901760548087294747.post-23668994038078964272009-02-16T10:10:00.002-05:002009-02-16T10:48:29.613-05:00Girly Birthday CardSorry for the terrible photo. Aren't these ribbons so fun!<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SYtj_adG7CI/AAAAAAAABLI/Oa8koUngtzk/s1600-h/020409-color.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299439327615839266" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 180px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SYtj_adG7CI/AAAAAAAABLI/Oa8koUngtzk/s320/020409-color.jpg" border="0" /></a> Anyway, I have to come up with some birthday cards for this month's Ladies' Night and I thought we would make something like this card. It will have to be a simpler version of this card because there will be 10 cards to make. So anyway, this is what I came up with for the challenge.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SYtj-yCm9mI/AAAAAAAABLA/cbdSp1fmiXY/s1600-h/100_1893.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299439316767274594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SYtj-yCm9mI/AAAAAAAABLA/cbdSp1fmiXY/s320/100_1893.JPG" border="0" /></a> I got to use some more of my new <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Stampin</span>' Stuff from my new order. I {heart} the bold birthday <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">sizzlits</span>!<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SYtj-gbXdqI/AAAAAAAABK4/vLcK3QcyaK4/s1600-h/100_1897.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299439312039278242" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Iyc6A3EguCE/SYtj-gbXdqI/AAAAAAAABK4/vLcK3QcyaK4/s320/100_1897.JPG" border="0" /></a> I popped the candles and cupcake top.
