The Best Piano Teacher EVER!

So my daughter takes piano lessons from one of my best friends, she is so wonderful, and she has a lot talent. Those of you who are local know her as Debbi. They just recently had a recital and she gave my daughter this card. Isn't is so fun and perfect for the occasion! I thought is was so awesome that she gave her students a congratulations card! She is so thoughtful. My daughter was so excited to get this card. This is what my daughter said to her piano teacher " My mom is going to be so proud of you!" And I really am! Thanks Debbi!!

In Honor of National Scrap Booking Month. . .

I actually finished a layout! Can you believe it? It looks better in real life, projects always do, I think.
I really love doing these flowers, they are so fun!

I thought it wouldn't take as long as it did but it is done. Yeah, about 6 more layouts and then the wedding album is finished.
See the amazing cake, yeah my mom made it, she is so talented. She could pretty much make any cake you wanted. On top of the cake is a glass sculpture of the LDS San Diego Temple, where my brother and sister-in-law were married.

Raspberry Tart Mini Cards

Last night I had a great turn out for this month's Ladies' Night. We made a some fun mini cards. This class highlighted the embosslit dies for the big shot and the Raspberry Tart DSP.
In this picture below the colors look awful, I think it is all the Rose Red that made my camera go crazy. The picture above looks more like the card in real life. I just love love love the ribbon used on this card, so pretty and elegant.
On some of the flowers I used a bit of a darker ink with a sponge dauber, to highlight the middle of the flower to give it more depth.I think this is my favorite card of all 4. I just think it is "adorable".
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Warm Words
Paper: Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper, Pretty in Pink, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, Real Red, Cameo Coral
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, Real Red, Cameo Coral
