KWerner Color Inspiration #6

I have finally made it back to the land of blogging, I have had some of the craziest/busiest weeks and haven't had time to stamp. This is another one of Kristina's Color inspiration challenges. I just absolutely love them!

I don't know why but I had a hard time coming up with this card. I don't know if it was the color combo I am not used to or maybe it is because it has been a while since I have stamped. Anyway, I still don't know if this is what I wanted as my final card but it is done!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Baroque Motifs, It's Your Birthday, Time Well Spent
Paper: Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Glossy White
Ink: Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker, Wild Wasabi, Versa Mark

Be Inspired!

This is my first Be Inspired Challenge that Beate has every week. I like looking at a picture and seeing what I can come up with.

Well this is what I imagined. I didn't have all the stamps I would have liked for this card but I think I made it work. I used one of the large flowers from the pretties kit and cut it down to create the brocade blue flowers. For the flower middle I used my circle punches and punched out some So Saffron CS and then I used Twill background stamp, stamping one way and then turning it 90 degrees and stamping again to make a crosshatch look.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Stem Sayings, Twill
Paper: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Pumpkin Pie, Brocade Blue Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories: Pretties Kit, Regals Buttons, Linen Thread, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Sponge, 3/4" circle punch, 1/2" circle punch

Scrap Booking Weekend

It takes me a long time to scrap book one page because I want everything to be just right, especially if I am doing it for someone else.
I am still not done with my Brother and Sister-in-Law's Wedding album but I am 3 layouts closer to being done!

These pictures are all taken just outside the San Diego Temple where my brother and his wife were married.

My daughter was one of the flower girls, aren't they cute!
Don't these two make a spectacular couple! They really were made for each other!

These are some fun photos, one is with all the bride's maides and the other is all the groom's men, with the couple of course!

Buggy Birthday

This morning I had to make a little boy's birthday card before 9:30 am, I had forgotten to make it the night before, OR earlier. So I had to be creative in a short time and then I thought the perfect way to accomplish this is to do Beate's Weekend Sketch. She always has such great ideas! Anyway, this is what I came up with.

100 Posts!

Hi all! I have just reached 100 posts! Wow! It seems like so many. Anyway, I wanted to share this Graduation card that I made for a friend's daughters' graduation coming up. I edited out her middle and last name just in case she didn't want her name revealed. So, I used all retired sets to make this card. It was a lot of fun!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets:
Headline Alphabet, Euphoria Alphabet, Tassel Time (All retired)
Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Accessories: Ticket corner punch, Silver brads, Stampin' Dimensionals

For the past few days I have been working on this card times 40! These are my baby announcements for Baby Will! I love this color combo. I also put a 1/4" circle of Soft Sky behind the brads, I really like how it turned out. What do ya think?

Ink: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, Stazon Timber Brown
