Pens, pens and more pens!

So, first off I want to apologize for the lack of blogging. I have been really busy lately and our family went out of town for a few days for Thanksgiving. I just wanted to share with you the most recent project I have been working on. These pens are for my sister's wedding in January. Can you guess how many there are? 150, okay so it is 149 because I gave one to my cousin who helped me do the tags, and she will not be able to be there for the wedding. Would you believe that there are 350 more already at my mom's house? Yeah, so that makes a total of about 500 pens altogether that I have done for this wedding. I have had some help along the way, so I wanted to give a shout out to all of you who have helped me assemble these pens! I think you all did a great job! Thank You!

Fun photo Wallet

I made this for my hostess at my last party. To make it I used the Five-in-One Card Cover Template using the DSP Wintergreen Paper. I made a belly band using Soft Sky and then I punched out a Mellow Moss and Certainly Celery 5-Petal Flower and bound it all together using a green rhinestone brad from the Circle Ice collection.
Inside I stamped 3 different flaps that you can put a 2x3 photo in using the Season of Joy Stamp Set. I then rounded the corners with the 3/16" corner rounder punch. I then glued them in alternating the way they open.

Envelope Template/ Bathroom Project

This is a very simple card that I created to go with the envelope made with the Five-in-One Card Cover. The lining of the Very Vanilla Envelope matches the DSP Dashing on the card. I made a 6" x 3 3/4" Card using Very Vanilla CS. I cut a strip of the Designer Series Paper Dashing and added Merry Christmas in Old Olive ink. I matted the Christmas Tree from Season of Joy in Real Red and glued it all together.
So these next pictures aren't very pretty at all! This was supposed to be just a quick project were my husband was going to take out the old tile and put in a new floor. I only agreed to it because the tiling job was terrible and all the grout was popping out. The grout lines were too thick and they were never sealed. So anyway my husband was going to put in a quick linoleum floor so we would not have to wait a couple day while the tiles set and so on. Walter pulled up the flooring and found water damage all the way down to the skeleton of the house. So in short, this little project has turned into a full on remodel of our one and only bathroom, leaving us with no shower for two weeks. I am happy to say that we now have a working shower and a floor. I will post pictures of the finished project when it is all done!
So this is a picture of what was behind the vanity. I was so surprised to see that the previous owners filled the holes in the wall with T-shirt scraps, instead of actually patching them. I just laughed when Walter showed me. I told him that he needed to do things the right way when putting everything back. He was in total agreement. I just want to say that our next house will have at least two bathrooms, I never realized what a blessing a second bathroom was until this project.

30/30 Winner!

Congratulations Mattie, your name was drawn out of the 30 names on my 30/30 Board. You have won $30 in Free SU! Merchandise! The 30/30 board has been such a success I have decided to continue doing it. Remember any $30 order of Current SU! Product puts your name on the board and when it is full I will pick another winner who will win $30 of the SU! Stamping Products of their choice!
I wanted to show you this cute little ornament/tag that I demoed at an in home workshop. I used the DSP Dashing for the mini envelope. For the ornament I used the snowflake from the Season of Joy Stamp Set that can be found in the Holiday Mini Collection 2007 Catalog. I stamped it in River Rock on Very Vanilla CS and punched it out with the 1 1/4 Circle Punch and roughed up the edges with the cutter kit and sponged in Real Red. I then Punched out a 1-3/8 Circle of River Rock Card stock and did the same thing I did with the other circle except I sponged in River Rock. I punched out a Real Red Scallop Circle and sponged the edges with Real Red. I glued it all together and used my Crop-A-Dile to punch a hole and to set a gold eyelet from the Metallic Eyelets. I then added Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon to create an ornament. You can leave off the eyelet and ribbon and you will have a really cute tag for your Christmas Gift!

Happy Halloween a few days late!

Shaelyn was SO excited to be Bell this year as you can tell.
Winston wasn't so happy to be Mickey Mouse. Later on I had to rub off his black nose because he kept smearing it.
Shaelyn was ready to pose for the picture. What a ham! I think she may have a future in being a Disney Princess. If any of you know me, then you know that that would be my ultimate dream job.

Here is another picture of Winston. He is still not that happy about being in this jumpsuit but once he figured out that all he had to say was "Trick-Or-Treat" and he would receive candy for it he wasn't noticing the costume so much.
