New Autumn Harvest!

Would you believe that I mounted this set in less than 10 minutes?!?! I was so excited to find out that all the stamp sets in the Holiday Mini Catty are all die cut so all you have to do is pop them out and mount them, NO SCISSORS! Since I spent such a small anount of time mounting my New Stamp Set I was able to play, and this is a card that I came up with.
Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Autumn Harvest, Holidays & Wishes

Paper: Always Artichoke, More Mustard, DSP Creepy Crawly, DSP Fall Flowers

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke

We went to our friend's birthday last night and had cake and ice cream, Yummy! This is the card that I gave to him. I actually made this card all the way back in January when Balmy Breezes was not retired. This card was a big hit. I think that these colors are very masculine and the layout can be used and just substitute another stamp set.

Good News!

Look at those Groovy Guava Toenails! Okay, so you know you love Stampin' Up! when you can look at a color and you find an SU! color that matches! Before our Beach trip I went to go get my FIRST Pedicure Ever! I can go on and on about pedicures! Every Woman should at least get one in her lifetime!

Wow! Look at all those candles! While we were at the beach we celebrated Walter's Birthday. I was in charge of putting the candles on the cheese cake, Yum! So my husband is now the big 30! I was figuring that the cake had 10 slices, I don't know why but it sounded right so I was putting 3 candles on each slice, when I was finished putting the candles on my box that the candles came in was empty and it had 36 in it. I then figured out the mistake I made, the cake had 12 slices, Duh! So Walter had extra candles to blow out!

He did a pretty good job, so at least we know that when he turns 36 he should be able to blow out all the candles! Ha ha!
So one other bit of good news, Yep that is a + on the pregnancy test. I am pregnant!!! I am so excited to have another addition to our family. I am roughly due on the 31st of January! I am still not sure weather I want to know what the baby will be, because I have a boy and a girl already and I like surprises. My husband wants to know though. We will see! I will keep you updated.

I also wanted to to let you all know that it is my husband's Birthday today! Happy Birthday Honey!!!

Love Doodle

This is one of the cards I did for Ladies' Night, it is a lot like the one I got at Regionals a couple months ago. The one we made at regionals, I think, wasn't as cute, so I changed up the colors and added the rhinestone brad. To create the pink in the frame and the flower, I used my blender pen and picked up Pretty in Pink Pastel from the Stampin' Pastels and put it where I wanted it.
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Double Line Doodles, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Paper: Barely Banana, Certainly Celery
Ink: Stazon Timber Brown, Barely Banana
Accessories: Fire Circle Rhinestones, Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Soft Subtles Brads, Stampin' Pastels, Blender Pen, 1 1/4" Circle Punch

Born to be Wild!

While I was in California my sister-in-law had a baby shower and my mom was put in charge of making the cake. My sister is doing a jungle theme for the baby's room and for the shower, so my mom asked me to come up with some ideas for the cake. We ended up making the cake together, my mom, myself and my littlest sister. We had a lot of fun shaping the fondant for the cake.
Here is a close up of the topper, all made out of fondant! We decided on a monkey because who can resist such an animal. My little sister had the idea for the Binky in the mouth. My mom saw a bear that was made to look like a teddy bear so we kind of went with it and turned the bear into a monkey. On the hinges of the arms we put some pearl stick pins to make a joint. I think it turned out pretty cute myself.

Birthday Blitz!

I have been asked to teach a class at Women's Day in a little over a month. It is a day with no children and lots of wonderful women get to take either crafting classes and/or spiritual classes on lots of different subjects. I love this day of the year because I am spiritually lifted, have done some crafts, and I feel like I can take on the world. Okay, not the world but I feel like I can be a better wife and mother. It is just awesome! Anyway, they asked me to teach a class. I thought I would come up with 3 cards for the women to make, but there was also the time frame of 50 minutes, so I had to come up with some quick and simple cards. So here is the result of me playing around. I used my square punches for the card to make it quicker. I used my 2-way glue pen on the flame and the frosting of the cupcake and added dazzling diamonds to add some sparkle!

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Holiday Blitz, Hugs & Wishes

Paper: Shimmery White, Blush Blossom, Groovy Guava

Ink: Groovy Guava

Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds, 2-way glue pen, 1 1/4" square punch, 1 3/8" square punch

Airport and Grandma's House

Okay, well my blog break was a little longer than I anticipated. I know how it is when you check a blog all the time and when it isn't updated I get a little anxious. So now that I am not on vacation anymore I have no excuse not to put something up. I am going to share some of our vacation photos with you. I don't have any from the Lake we went to because I thought I had forgotten my camera at my mom's house and it turns out it was in my purse the whole time, Silly Me! I will have to wait till my family emails me with the Water skiing pictures. This picture is of my children in the airport waiting to board the plane. They love to play together, I just hope we weren't driving anybody else crazy! They were just getting some energy out! Ha ha!
There goes my son, Always running to where ever he is going. Sometimes he has a funny run that always cracks me up.

In this picture we are in California and Auntie Mickey is reading to the kids. They are being so good, I don't think I can ever get them to sit still for as long as she did.
So, as you can see, my daughter saw that I was taking pictures and decided to smile for the picture and my son is occupied with his horse. They had tons of fun having their aunts and uncles around and I won't lie, it was nice to have them around too because I was able to steal a few moments to myself and my husband and I were able to go to the new Harry Potter movie. Finally!
