Happy Halloween

So this is variation of the Swirly Pumpkin Lantern. It seemed to be a lot easier. I made these to give away to the people I visit teach. I put some candy in the middle. These can be used for Halloween and through Thanksgiving. I took thin strips of paper to make the curly cues. I just used a pencil and rolled them. Supplies:
Stamps: So Swirly Jumbo Wheel
Ink: Versa Mark Inked Cartridge
Paper: Pumpkin Pie , Old Olive
Accessories: Silver Brads , 5-Petal Flower Punch

Doodle Birthday

So this inspiration challenge comes from Beate over at her blog Fresh and Fun. It has been a very long time since I have participated in one of her inspiration challenges. I thought this scarf was so pretty, and I had to participate. So this is what I came up with, I needed another birthday card. My family keeps having birthdays and I am no where near caught up. I stamped the images in basic grey on watercolor paper and then water colored with Bravo Burgundy and Pink Pirouette. The picture is not as good as I thought it would be but I also paper pierced down the sides of the pink ribbon.
Supplies:
Stamps: Hugs & Wishes, Doodle This
Paper: Basic Grey, Bravo Burgundy, Pink Pirouette, Bella Rose DSP, Watercolor Paper
Accessories: Wide Oval Punch, Pink Pirouette 1-1/4 Inch Grosgrain Ribbon, Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon , Aqua Painter , Mat Pack , Paper Piercer, Stampin' Dimensionals , Snail Adhesive , Stamping Sponges

Baby Boy Bitty Book

Say that 3 times fast. Kind of fun, huh? Well I am hoping my sister doesn't check my web site that often or she wont be surprised when she gets this.I made this on-board bitty book for my sister who is expecting her first baby in a few weeks. I love that is comes with a box that the book slides into. This is a picture of the outside.
Here is the other side of the outside. I used textured card stock and then used different elements from the Simply Scrappin' kit Special Delivery Boy.
Here is the front of the book and below is a picture of the back and a little bit of the inside. I hope she likes it!

Get Well Star

One of the Young Women that I work with at church had surgery on Tuesday, so I made her a card that all the youth and leaders could sign. This is what I came up with.I thought a nice shiny star would help her feel better. I used the Spring Fling DSP that retired with the last catty. I love how pretty it is. I also really like the chunky sprinkles, nice and sparkly! I also used the new filigree brads, and just replaced the center brad with a barely banana brad. I hope she likes it!

Ink: Barely Banana, Versa Mark, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Filigree Designer Brads, Clear EP, Taffeta Ribbon Pretty in Pink, Soft Subtles Brads, Simon Upper Chipboard, Heat-n-Stick Powder, Chunky Sprinkles, Sponge

I am alive, I promise!

I've been pretty busy getting lots of projects done and getting ready for ladies' night tonight. Also, over the weekend I came down with a fun cold that left me laying on the couch for two days. Anyway, quick post for today. I just received this thank you card from my dear friend Joette, she makes all of her cards! I love the colors she combined for this card. She does such a great job! I love getting homemade cards! There is something special about knowing that they took time to make a card just for you. So go and make someone happy by making them a card today! Happy Stamping!
